From a young age I discovered that I had special skills in massage which developed from massaging friends and family. With this passion for massage, alongside my keen interest in sports and science, I decided to study massage and nutrition. At school I was always interested in the human body and how it work and how it heals. Healing through diet, movement and massage is my professional focus which I am very passionate about. Massage can help people improve awareness about their own body and how it assists and promotes healing. My aim is to help educate clients about how stress and sedentary lifestyle affect our bodies negatively.Massage and movement can make significant positive changes in people’s lives and living pain free can change who a person is physically and mentally. Most people see massage as a luxury. I see massage as a necessity to keep our body in optimal form. It is a way of continuously learning what we need to work on in our own bodies. It is a way of keeping our body in tune, like the way we would tune a car for maximum performance. I am passionate about the human body and I am continuously learning new techniques and keeping up with the latest research and studies on how the body works. I practice Yoga and keep an active lifestyle as well as having massage treatments and acupuncture on a regular basis. |
